Series founders Dahlynn McKowen and Ken McKowen spent 10 years as Chicken Soup for the Soul coauthors/editors before launching NYMB. "Not Your Mother’s Book . . . On Being a Woman" is the first in the new series, with another 30 titles under production. "Not Your Mother's Book . . . On Being a Stupid Kid" will be released in late October and features stories about all those stupid things we did in our youth. "Not Your Mother's Book . . .
